The Head of Finance will oversee all financial activities, ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of Giftify. This role includes managing financial operations, Tax and introducing FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, strategic planning within FinTech with significant experience in managing financial operations across multiple regions and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage the Finance team.
- Implement financial strategies to support company goals.
- Establish FP&A functions to enhance financial planning.
- Financial Operations & Management:
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, financial forecasting, and financial risk management.
- Attend client meetings to provide financial expertise on money flows.
- Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Develop financial models and analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Monitor financial performance and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in finance, tax and FP&A.
- Proven track record of leading successful finance teams
- Setting up a finance department across multiple geographies. Experience in EMEA is a plus.
- Experience in a payment company or FinTech is an assset.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
