Role Overview:

The Head of Sales & Account Management will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategies, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the success of our sales and account management team. This position requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales and account management, particularly within the payments or retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8 Business Developers and Account Managers.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Monitor team performance, set clear KPIs, and provide regular feedback.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and present customized reports for management and clients.
  • Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive market expansion and growth.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the CCO to align sales strategies with company objectives.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Work with legal, product, finance, implementation, and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Advocate for clients by capturing feedback and ensuring it informs product development.
  • Organize regular meetings and performance reviews with internal teams and clients.

Global Presence & Travel:

  • Represent Giftify at industry events and commercial fairs across Europe.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and support team activities.

Qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience in sales and account management, with a strong background in payments or retail.
    • Proven track record of leading and managing successful sales teams.
    • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot), MS Office, and Google Docs.
    • Fluent in English
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
    • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Willingness to travel across Europe.
