The Account Manager will be crucial in nurturing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring success, and fostering long-term loyalty. This individual will act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and assisting them in utilising our products and services to achieve their goals. This role is diverse and requires a keen attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with various personality types.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fully understand the services contracted for each client; exercise best efforts to sustain the highest possible level of client satisfaction; prepare customised reports for management and clients on a per-request basis.
  • Pitch new products and services (upselling)
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building trust and rapport whilst identifying areas of opportunity to pass to the Business Development Team.
  • Be a customer advocate by capturing their feedback and reporting it to the product department and any other relevant department.
  • Review client journeys and use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues and achieve good sales.
  • Work closely with the business development, legal, product, finance, implementation, and marketing teams.
  • Organise regular meetings/calls and share performance reports
  • Travel across Europe for client visits and commercial fairs

You are or have…

  • At least three years experience in a similar role, preferably in payments or retail.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and address client needs.
  • Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English, able to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Well-organised with attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate and solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to provide the best service to clients.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Docs, CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot), and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle uncertainty, and adjust priorities quickly.
  • Experience in handling client queries tactfully and diplomatically, with a minimum of 3 years in a client-facing role.
